CAIS Summer Leadership Institute

The 2012 Summer Leadership Institute was held July 3-7 at Trinity College School in Port Hope, ON. The courses offered this year were:

Brain Research - * a new module

Change Management

Coaching - * a new module

The Next Step - Part II (Part I was in 2011, this summer was the last part of the 2 year program)

Head's Program - Money and Managing Change (for School Heads only)

New to the program last year were "The Next Step" for current administrators who are positioned for future leadership roles, and "Money and Managing Change" for current CAIS school Heads based on challenges in Human Resources, Financial Sustainability, and Managing Change.

This year we also added two new programs where the focus was on groups with the potential to elevate the CAIS Brand. We introduced the concept of a Forum for Athletic and Communications Directors, whereby colleagues from similar positions came together to learn, share, and create.
